Nervous System

The central nervous system ensures conscious perception, activity of the subconscious mind, the dreaming state and the neurological transmission of information with the help of sensory and motor nerves into the brain centre. It encompasses the activity of brain, cranial nerves, pituitary, spinal cord and spinal nerves. From the brainstem emerge twelve cranial nerves: olfactory, optic, oculomotor, trochlear, trigeminal, abducens, facial, vestibulocochlear, glossopharyngeal, vagus, accessory and hypoglossal. The endocrinal glands serve as the control centres. They interconnect the bodily functions, hormonal activity, emotions, the mind and mental awareness with the energetic system of seven chakras. The endocrinal glands release hormones directly into the bloodstream. Their function secures the process of procreation, growth, development, metabolism and balance of life functions.
