The preparation of Ayurvedic hot drinks differs from herbal teas, which are brewed. The ground powder or "churna" is consumed directly in a warm liquid. Unlike instant hot drinks, where additives dissolve its contents into a chemical solution, pure mixtures of Amla drinks are prepared in 100% natural RAW quality and do not contain any preservatives or additives. Therefore, the finely ground powder never dissolves in water. The most valuable thing the drink contains is this ground mixture of herbs, which needs to be mixed in warm water and then drunk together with the entire content with the addition of a teaspoon of honey and a few drops of lemon. Honey is used in Ayurveda as a mean for better absorption of herbal effects into the bodily tissues.

Preparation

To get a healthy and tasty drink, mix 1 teaspoon (cca 2g) of finely ground blend in 8 fl oz (250 ml) of warm water and add honey to your taste and a few drops of lemon. The powder can also be added to smoothies and fresh juices.
